The 15th Full Tilt Online Poker Series opens tomorrow, February 10. Guaranteeing over $17,000,000 across 27 events, FTOPS XV promises to be bigger than the last.
Each event of the FTOPS is hosted by a different Full Tilt Pro. Buy-ins for the FTOPS events range from $100 + $9 to $1,000 + $60; $2,500 + $120 for the 2 Day Event (Event #22). Full Tilt Poker is also running an enormous number of satellites for the FTOPS XV events.
This week will see a total of ten guaranteed cash poker events between Wednesday and Sunday night, totaling a combined 6 million dollars in guaranteed prize money.
FTOPS XV commences with a $200 + $16 NL Hold’em tourney boasting a guaranteed $1,000,000 prize pool. Event #1 begins at 21:00 (9pm) ET Wednesday night. The first event is hosted by Full Tilt Pro Erik Seidel. Satellites are running around the clock until about an hour before the first online poker tournament of the series starts.
Two events are scheduled for Thursday. Event #2 is a $240 + $16 PLO/8 Knockout that guarantees $250k, and will be hosted by Full Tilt Pro Sigi Stockinger at 14:00 (2pm) ET. Poker pro Jared Hamby hosts Event #3 at 21:00 ET, which is a $350k guaranteed $500 + $35 NL Hold’em 3x Shootout.
At 14:00 ET, Friday afternoon, Event #4 will be hosted by Rob Hollink. The $200 + $16 NL Hold’em, with 1 rebuy and 1 add-on, is guaranteed $600k. Friday night Michael Gracz will host the $150k guaranteed $200 + $16 Limit Hold’em 6max in Event #5.
Richard Ashby will host Event #6 Saturday at 14:00 ET. The $500 + $35 PLO 6max event has a prize pool of $350k. Event #7 follows at 16:00 with a $100 + $9 NL Hold’em Rebuy worth $600k.
Sunday brings us 3 FTOPS XV events, starting with #8 at 14:00, hosted by Steve Brecher. $800k is guaranteed for the $120 + $9 NL Hold’em Knockout. $400k is guaranteed in Event #9′s $500 + $35 NL Hold’em Heads Up hosted by Haseeb Qureshi. Wrapping up Sunday’s FTOPS is legendary Chris Ferguson, host of Event #10. The guaranteed $1.5 million $300 + $22 NL Hold’em event starts at 18:00 ET.
In addition to prize money earned, all players who make it to a FTOPS XV final table in any event will receive a limited-edition FTOPS jacket. Winners of the FTOPS XV events will be awarded the FTOPS XV jacket, a gold FTOPS jersey and gold jersey avatar to use at Full Tilt Poker. The player that finishes in first place on the FTOPS XV Leaderboard will be awarded a special prize package that includes free entry into all of the FTOPS XVI events (with the exception of the 2 Day Event) and a custom Full Tilt Poker avatar.
